£50000.00 of funding needs to be allocated before March 31st!
The British Cycling sustainability fund is an incentive for clubs and groups to adopt measures that lead to more sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, for example:
Circular economy – reusable resources, tape, stakes, zip ties, numbers, eco catering., reduce paper consumables, install recycling bins ?
Sustainable transport – spectator and competitor travel – hire of electric vehicles ?
Clean Energy – renewable and low carbon, solar panels for PA systems, rechargable pressure washers, floodlights, LED lighting ?
Sustainable travel – logistics and freight, relocate resource storage ?
Water conservation – install rainwater collectors ?
Biodiversity – tree planting, re-wilding.
The fund is available to clubs, event organisers and venue operators but cannot be linked to individual bank account. If you are applying as event organiser or venue operator, please email sustainability@britishcycling.org.uk
