A useful club networking event is coming up at Wyke Community Sports Village on Saturday 1st March.
This is an opportunity to get together in an informal setting with other clubs, coaches, and members to share ideas, best practice and updates from British Cycling. The meeting is free to attend and will run from 11am – 3pm. Refreshments and a buffet lunch are included.
A number of core topics will be covered including children and young people retention, women and girls engagement, coaching pathways and ‘myth busters’
Outcomes from this get together will include your better understanding of current BC working, insight into successful practice shared by other clubs, an opportunity to network and develop plans and ideas for your own cycling experience.
Please try to encourage a representative from your club or group to attend and be a part of this productive day.
