The selection of the team will be made by The British Cycling Yorkshire Selection Panel. A team manager and coach will be appointed for the event. Overall factors which may affect selection include:
• Performances in specific race series/competitions specified below
• Availability
• Personal behaviour and discipline
• Application, ability and attitude displayed at Regional Schools of Racing and other training events promoted by the region
Given that the event includes both road and track disciplines, only riders who can demonstrate track racing experience as well as road will be considered for selection. The
following race series will be used as a basis for selection (National events will take priority over Regional events):
• 2021 Youth National Omnium Series
• Manchester Track League
• York Summer Evening Track League
• 2021 National Youth Road Circuit Series
• 2021 White Rose Youth League
Given there is a more limited race programme available this year, more emphasis will be placed on the White Rose Youth League.
The Team will be selected by Friday 23rd July.
