We are seeking marshals for the 2016 Yorkshire Regional Road Race Championships. This year the event will be help on the Upper Denby Circuit and organised by the British Cycling Yorkshire Events Group. The group are now looking for volunteers to help with the races. You can either marshal one race or make a day of it – the choice is up to you.
There are 2 block of races. The first event is Womens and Masters race which run a few minutes apart. The event starts at 9:30 and marshals for the morning event would be expected to be at the headquarters at Penistone School for 8:15am for a briefing. The race in the afternoon commences as 13:15 and volunteers would need to be at Penistone School for 12:00 noon. All helpers will be provided with a packed lunch, hi vis clothing and refreshments after the races.If you would like to get involved and help at the event, please contact Peter Root, by clicking on this link.
